The two main building blocks are called "Themes" and "Plugins."

Themes

A WordPress Theme defines the look of your website - what visitors see.

Standard themes - are included as part of WordPress and are easy to customize with your own logo and color scheme.
Commercial Themes - are readily available from other sources that can enhance your website - some are free, others might cost from $40 to $100.
Fully Custom Themes - all themes can be modified to suit your own needs, or you can have a theme created just for you. Costs vary according to the extent of your modifications, and typically run from $1,500 to $5,000.

Plugins

Plugins add extra features and functions visible to your visitors, or help you manage your website from "behind the scene." Typical Plugins add the following:

Installation of a Standard or Commercial theme

- Basic Security

Home page and sidebar configuration
Header edits including your website name or existing logo
Custom color scheme created to match your existing logo or preference
Add Slides to Theme's Image Rotator - Includes a maximum of five slides, resizing of all images for slider, and configuration of slider settings. Images to be provided by client.
Customization of home page layout which would include additional widget areas if needed plus the removing or adding of additional content areas.
Three additional plugins styled to match theme. Examples would include events, contact forms, or other advanced plugins. E-Commerce not included.

Migration from WordPress.com to Custom Domain ~ $500+

WordPress.com migrations are also available. This puts you in full charge of your website, including your own domain name and search engine presence.
